Objectives

The objective of this course is to review the challenges facing network design in the datacenter, look at the trends in Cloud and Hyperscale datacenter networking and their potential impact on the cabling infrastructure. It covers the shift to virtualization, changes in network topologies and architecture, developments in ethernet standards, transceiver and switch technology, and the impact on cabling infrastructure.
