Audience

This course is for anyone involved in Hyperscale/Cloud Data Center infrastructure installation or management who may already have some experience but want to increase their knowledge and understanding of connectivity products and installation. In this online course, you will learn about the CommScope’s Fiber Connectivity solutions. At the instructor-led installation training course (ND8920), you will be afforded the opportunity to gain hands-on interaction with some of the products discussed in this course.

No pre-requisites required.

Objectives

Demonstrate a basic knowledge of and the ability to properly install the following CommScope product sets per CommScope’s and customer’s requirements:

• Bulk optical fiber cable
• Single- and double-ended factory pre-terminated cable assemblies
• QWIK II field terminated LC and QWIK MPO splice-on MPO connectors
• CHD fiber panel portfolio
• Standard Density EPX fiber panel portfolio
• Building Entrance Enclosures portfolio

How will I learn?

You will study this course online in a self-paced format. The course is made up of a number of webcast lessons and online multiple choice assessments giving immediate feedback. It is highly recommended that the student augment their learning with real world product and installation experience, preferably with the help of experienced colleagues or mentors.

Successful completion will require

Any level of pass in the accumulative overall assessment score.
