This course is aimed at helping the student install and maintain a powered fiber cable system. The course works through the main components starting with the equipment in the rack, setting that up, then the installation of the cable itself onto the extenders and end-point devices. The course provides hints and recommendations throughout using videos of termination and set-up procedures. It also advises the student on best working practices, warranty requirements and includes two separate lessons on troubleshooting, what to look for and how to remedy any faults that might occur.
