Audience

This course is designed for system designers or sales personnel who are discovering the needs are changing in our buildings and building networks. The demand for wireless connections has increased dramatically and with this a revision of the way traditional local area networking has always been implemented. This course introduces Constellation, a system that will suit many environments utilizing a star topology, and getting safe power, Ethernet and wireless connectivity to all areas.

Pre-requisite experience

No pre-requisite experience is required although most attendees will have had at least some exposure to Enterprise structured cabling installation.

• Looks at new building trends, technologies and standards where more power and devices are required
• Discusses converging networks, requiring higher densification, speed and the sustainability issues that go with that
• Introduces the new ratified Class 4 fault managed power delivery system with a detailed explanation of how it compares to conventional AC mains power delivery
• Where Building Edge Infrastructures become advantageous
• Help to understand the Constellation topology and distance advantages over traditional LANS
• Typical building/environment scenarios
